They say working with family or relatives has the potential to be very hard and challenging. It can bring out the best and the worst in both of our working relationships. Planning Ysabella's graduation party, however, didn't end up difficult at all. It was challenging but never had a conflict dealing with her and her mom.

We started working on the party last year, the biggest and most extravagant party I did. My cousin, Ysabella and my Tita Darling were so hands-on, they were giving me ideas about almost every glorious detail. They wanted an all-white occasion to celebrate Ysabella's graduation and at the same time a send off to med school celebration. The guests were requested to wear white attire. The entire venue was filled with whites too like drapes, tables, chair, and lanterns. We added few touches of greens and brown to bring out a rustic vibe. They knew exactly what they wanted to make the party stand out.

Our family and friends were so endearing and overjoyed to be celebrating such once in a lifetime event for my cousin. Ysabella looked astounding in her Michael Leva beige gown that glows perfectly the entire night. We had planned out every detail perfectly, from food to venue to theme and motif. We had the best suppliers in the industry and the graduation party, in the end, turned out to be an avenue for relatives and friends to get together.

Passion and creative energy were poured over to this party. The whole process of making this happen made me realize that we shouldn't take event planning for granted. We take months or weeks of works, from the littlest details to the biggest ideas then trade them to few hours of celebration. But behind all of these are the rewarding moment of happiness that we bring to them and we get to witness.
